Looking for more information about the gym at Dolphin House in Pimlico? Whether you’re considering membership or already part of the club, you’ll find answers to common questions about our gym facilities, fitness classes, personal training, gym inductions, InBody body composition assessments, Gravity Reformer Pilates, changing facilities and everything included with Fitness Club membership.

  • How is the gym induction structured?

Every new member receives a gym induction and InBody body composition assessment. This helps establish a clear starting point and allows the team to recommend a training approach aligned with your goals.

  • Are fitness classes included in membership?

Yes. All standard fitness classes are included within membership. Gravity Reformer Pilates is available at a preferential member rate. See our class timetable here.

  • Do I need to book classes in advance?

Most classes can be booked through the member booking system. Advance booking is recommended for popular sessions to secure a place.

  • Is the gym suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. The gym is designed to support all experience levels, with staff available to provide guidance and help members build confidence in their training.

  • Can I work with a personal trainer?

Yes. Personal trainers are available to provide one-to-one coaching tailored to your individual goals, whether focused on fitness, performance, mobility or general wellbeing.

  • What is an InBody assessment?

The InBody Machine provides an in-depth, medical-grade body composition analysis that goes beyond a standard scale. It gives a clear breakdown of muscle, fat and body water using a quick, non‑invasive scan, offering a detailed picture of your health and progress. It works by sending safe, low level electrical currents through different parts of the body to measure each area individually, helping to highlight changes and imbalances more accurately.

New members receive a complimentary scan as part of their induction, and additional scans are available for £12.50. Sessions are booked with a fitness instructor and take around 15–20 minutes, including a simple barefoot scan and a walkthrough of your printed results. For best accuracy, light clothing and an empty stomach are recommended.

Members can also use the InBody app to store previous scans and track changes over time. Non members are welcome to book a scan and can purchase it on the day.

  • What facilities are available in the changing rooms?

The recently refurbished changing rooms include showers, secure lockers and complimentary towels available from reception for every visit.

  • What are the gym opening hours?

    Mon-Fri: 06:30 – 21:30
    Sat/Sun/bank holidays: 08:00 – 20:00
